You’ve probably heard it before:
“Torah … isn’t that, like … a Jewish thing?”
Our answer:
“Our Messiah (Yeshua / Jesus) was Jewish. We desire to walk as he walked.”
We believe the Bible teaches that Yeshua followed his Father’s instructions and taught his followers to do the same. As believers in Messiah, we are Abraham’s seed, grafted into the renewed covenant. And as partakers of the blessings that covenant brings, we are commanded to “walk as he walked.”
Yeshua kept the Sabbath. He ate clean foods. He kept His Father’s feasts and holy days. He cared for the orphans and widows…
He followed Torah. He embodied the Torah – the ways of our Father in Heaven.
He was obedient “unto death” (Philippians 2:8).
It’s not a Jewish thing; it’s a Yeshua thing.
